How does Photoshop work?

I am using Oracle 11g.
My Sql user name and password is same for login purposes.
I have created one application using java.
I have integrated my application using jdbc.
Now my requirement is to change the login information whenever my application gets executed.
Or my default Sql user login should differ for all users.
So is there any way to achieve this?

A:

You should be aware of the limits of SQL Authentication (or Connection Pooling in case you are using them), so:

If your JDBC driver uses a default user/password, you should pick a different one (the most obvious approach would be to use a different connection factory, but you could also make the default user/password something random for each connection, or hide the user and password completely).
If your JDBC driver uses Windows Authentication, it’s less likely to be able to do the above.

Your users should be forced to log in via a dedicated LDAP or IDP if you don’t have access to their credentials.

The password for your database login is stored in the ORACLE_SID parameter.
If you’re using Oracle 11g, you’ll need to create a db link with the following password:
CREATE DATABASE LINK javarecon APP_LIST=orcl_adm_app_list DATABASE=orcl NEW_PASSWORD=orcl$APP_LIST
