This is a very nice game. It´s a combination of real life and a simulation world. You can easily understand people and feel comfortable with them. By the way, if you look carefully at the photos, you can see some ‘pixels’ but this is a default setting. You can turn it off.

Writing a different Rake task for the same model

I am using Rake for the first time to do some data exports.
I want to write a rake task for every model I have, except for the Paper model, which is the default model used by the task.
(I want the Paper model not because it needs to be re-exported every time, but because I know that the model is always taken from a database table, and I need to do some minor work to export it – I don’t want it to get triggered for every run, because I want it for every export)
How do I tell Rake not to execute the Paper task when I run rake task:export? Or is there a better way to achieve the same?

If you use a class method you can have the Rakefile include this line:
class.exclude_task “my_task_to_be_skipped”, “Paper”

The Paper task will also be called for each of your other models, so it’s not possible to skip just one of them.
This will work whether you call your rake task with rake task_name or just rake.
The call to exclude_task is a bit ugly, and hopefully soon
