On an ending note, ASMAN SUBMaker tries to impress through a custom made interface and an incredibly helpful and guided creation process. Sure, its intentions are good, but the overall implementation of features and a few issues here and there keep it from being a pro of its kind. Subtitle making is not really my kind of hobby. I believe it is a skill that requires a lot of practice to master. With this said, it is hard to find a tool that gets the job done well.
I like to use the word well because I like to think that it should look clean and easy to use. Today, I found Polaris ISM that should be able to fulfill my expectations.
Despite not being my kind of hobby, I try to find a way to teach myself how to make them, and Polaris ISM does not disappoint. I find that it has a simple interface. It provides clean menus that make the process of creating subtitles much easier. I could not find any problems with the design.
I think the interface is great for two main reasons. First of all, the color scheme is really great. It gives each button a nice look that makes it really easy to identify. Also, every input method makes sense because it is clearly marked out. You can add subtitles from files or import them from the source movie. You also have the option to use external libraries such as a3D, Softsub, BasS, etc. You can assign an ID to text
