The easiest way to solve this problem is to use Photoshop’s layer effects. While in Photoshop, drag the layer effects to the opacity you want. When you are done editing, just set the opacity to zero and the result will be an image that looks perfectly smooth. In the following image, I used the Free Transform tool to drag the layer effects up.

Adding/removing a background image

This is a simple but effective technique that you can use to make a background image disappear. This technique works especially well for adding an Instagram filter. In the following image, I used the Marquee Tool to select and delete the background. I then used the Tint option and selected Black on Transparent from the colour palette.

Adding a special effect using the blending options

I often use the “Screen blend” to add a special effect to the image. This is a surprisingly powerful tool that simulates the appearance of a marble photo, for example. You can see how the Screen blend tool works in the following image.

After using the Screen blend tool, I used the “Blend if” function to switch back to the original image. You can use this technique as many times as you want to make your image look “marbled”.

Thanks to Brian for pointing me in the right direction. Now my Save() method looks like this:

I am trying to parse a string of digits into an array of single digits using my current skill level of C++. I used a.split() method to pass the input string to my function called parse_digit().
My input is of the form
“123”

My parse_digit() function uses a for loop and a while loop.

is looping on zero, because temp contains the value of the string which was just parsed.
After your call to while() ct is an uninitialized value and by the time the while loop ends ct will be 0 and since the result of 0 >> n is 0 (i.e. 1.0) the result of the expression will be false.
You need to allocate enough space to hold the string, then copy it into that space using strcpy() and std::string::strcpy().
